The CHESS design presents a deconstructed interpretation of the classic checkerboard pattern, transforming it into a bold, graphic statement piece. With its unstructured form, this rug strikes the perfect balance between the disorder of its design and the harmony of its carefully chosen colour palette. The checkerboard appears fragmented, with shapes that seem to float in place, creating an intriguing, dynamic visual. Integrated subtle material effects bring texture and depth, enriching the design with a tactile dimension. The contours of the brightly coloured squares are crisp and defined, offering clarity while adding a striking energy to the overall aesthetic.
