The SEMI pendant light is a one of a kind pendant light based on two quarter circles placed back-to-back. With its light, one of a kind shape, timeless design and the variety of colours and sizes, the SEMI pendant light is extremely versatile and suitable for both private and public spaces. The SEMI pendant light was designed in 1968 as a product of the creative partnership between Claus Bonderup and Torsten Thorup. In response to the soft organic shapes, the so-called cosy era that dominated Denmark at that time, Bonderup and Thorup wanted to create a lamp that combines sharp, clear lines and a geometric shape.
