The light source is included and not permanently installed. It emits warm white light with low brightness. The light has a sensor on the lamp that allows it to be switched on and off and dimmed in 3 steps. The semi-transparent diffuser provides a pleasantly soft light. The battery is charged via the supplied micro-USB cable.
